Short breaks and Last minute deals
A short break is a great way to ‘dip your toes in the water’ so to speak! This year, as we operate seven days a week, we are offering you the flexibility to hire any of our Narrowboats for an any day departure or return. There are choices of many varied routes from our base, all of which will give you a great introduction to boating on the Great British Canal Network.
Still unsure that a canal boating holiday is for you?
See our Narrowboats for yourself
The boatyard at Calcutt is open to visitors everyday, including Saturday and Sunday, all year round (except Christmas week!).
There’s no substitute for seeing the canal boats first hand and we’d be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
For viewing the boat interiors we suggest you visit between March and October. If there is a particular boat you wish to view, please call ahead to check it will be here.
Holiday Cancellation Scheme
If you have to cancel your holiday once you have booked – and haven’t taken out insurance through our Cancellation Scheme – you will be liable for the full amount of the hire fee.
